Second Story Colonial Addition in Yardley, Bucks County
In this project we were contracted to add a second story to a ranch style home. We removed the entire roof and added a complete second story. The addition consisted of four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We also removed walls, added pocket doors and enlarged windows on the first floor. Decorative roof structures were built on the front of the home to add flair to the front elevation as well as provide shelter from the weather when entering. Custom cedar brackets, Bucks County Ledge stone, board and batten shutters, vinyl shake accents and a carriage style garage door were also installed to complete this new Bucks County colonial home.

Finished basement with media room in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County
In this project we were contracted to finish the basement in order to create more space for our clients expanding family. The client was looking for a play room area for the kids to spread out and play with out taking over the house. A large closet for storing toys and a flat screen TV hung on the wall. Another desire was a guest bedroom and full bathroom for out of town relatives to have a private place to stay during extended visits. Finally the biggest desire of the man of the house was a media room with an 80" projection TV, integrated 7.1 sound system, the latest electronic components and integrated lighting all controlled by remote. In order to comply with state wide codes a bilco style door also needed to be installed with precast concrete steps giving a secondary means of egress from the basement.

Master Bedroom Suite Addition and Remodel in Yardley, Bucks County
In this project we were contracted to build a master bedroom suite and library/home office. After construction got under way the customer decided to have us remodel the existing second floor bathroom as well. The master bedroom suite was to be built over the existing garage and breez way. The library/ home office was to be built on the first floor in between the house, breezway and garage.
The master bedroom suite consists of a large master bedroom, walk in closet, hobby room and master bathroom. In the master bathroom is a large 5' x 7' shower with body sprays, shower head and hand shower with slide bar. There is also a large double bowl sink with granit top, Aquatics air jetted heated tub and private toilet are.
Crown molding chair rail and fluted casings were also installed thru out the house.
Kitchen and Breakfast Room Addition in Yardley, Bucks County

This project is for past customers of ours. A few years after finishing their basement we were again contacted when the Heinze's decided they wanted to expand and remodel their kitchen. We sat down and discussed their vision. After having talked about all of their wants and desires we at Schwartz Building & Remodeling, Inc. came up with a design for the new kitchen and breakfast area. Along with the help of our designer at Century Kitchens we were able to find the right cabinet style and color and the perfict design to meet the customer's vision.
